lists 20 common consumer items such as coffee, bananas, flowers, clothing, cleaners and provides a guide as to the environmental hazards of many of these products, and suggests purchasing those produced in environmentally friendly ways.

other esoteric subjects, but also presents workshops, conferences and
lectures such as the upcoming:

Thursday and Friday, March 25 and 26 at the AMNH
Scientific American. Very
in-depth articles for the layperson with a scientific interest.
UU
World. Our Unitarian Universalist magazine. Occasionally
very good articles.
Natural Home Magazine. Tips for greening your house.
YES! a Journal of Positive Futures
Inspiring articles and really helpful resources for conducting your own
discussion groups. Recommended by Bobbie.
